Apply for the 2014 Symantec Innovation in Teaching Award!

Symantec, a Teach For America STEM supporter, thrives on innovation. Recognizing these parallels in our values, Symantec and Teach For America are excited to honor classroom innovators with the 2014 Symantec Innovation in Teaching Awards. In 2014, we will recognize five Teach For America corps members and/or alumni who demonstrate three things: innovation through an innovative project, program, or approach to teaching; collaboration with fellow teachers, their students’ parents, or community members; and measurable impact evident in their students' growth and achievement.

The five winners will each receive a $1,000 personal award and a $1,500 resource grant to further fuel innovative teaching in their schools. In addition, all five winners will be offered an expenses-paid opportunity to further hone their craft at the Teach For America Alumni Educator Summit in Las Vegas, NV on Friday, July 18 - Sunday, July 20. Nominate an alumni teacher or apply now by March 30th!
