The Collective | Los Angeles is 100% alumni-led - get involved now!

The Collective, Teach For America's National Alumni of Color Association, is founded on the belief that alumni of color play a unique role in helping students achieve educational equity. Now is a great time to get involved, as The Collective | Los Angeles is now 100% alumni-led! The 5 priorities of The Collective | Los Angeles are:
  1. Instruction and Classroom Practice (Cultural Competency)
  2. Relationship Building
  3. Leadership Development
  4. Outreach to Alumni
  5. Policy Impacting Mission
RSVP here for the next Collective | Los Angeles meeting on Monday, March 24th at the TFA-LA Office office (map) from 6-8pm. We’ll be screening the last 1/3 of the film, Cracking The Codes: The System of Racial Inequity, followed by discussion. You'll also be able to engage in the work that The Collective membership has been carrying out, and to learn about upcoming opportunities to become involved. Bring a friend! Please email Raul Hernandez, Director of Alumni Leadership & Engagement, with any questions or to become part of The Collective.
